In the January 29th issue of The Times, it is reported that the Cedar Lake Town Council has directed their Director of Administration to set up a meeting with the Lowell Town Council to dicusss additions to the Waste Water Treatment Plant that it shares with Lowell.........

Cedar Lake wants to try "end run" around Army Corps of Engineers decision to stay with "Best Buy Plan 4"
On November 18th, after a response from the Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE)
indicating that they would continue to support " Best Buy" alternative
4, the Cedar Lake council voted to try an end-run around the Chicago
Office, with the support of Congressman Visclosky.
